Our Vision

The vision of Vintage Faith Wichita is to exalt Jesus Christ for the glory of God and for the good of the world.

Our Mission

The mission of Vintage is to be and make faithful disciples of Jesus who love God and their neighbors with all of their redeemed humanity.

We believe that if we keep the main thing the main thing—if we preach Christ and love one another—the kingdom of God will organically grow and take shape around us. The motivation that drives us is the freedom and joy of the gospel. We love because He first loved us.

Our Core Values

The central value of Vintage Faith Church is summed up by this statement:

Jesus + Nothing = Everything

The Bible is not ultimately the story of what we must do for God, it is the story of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ. The Christian message is a proclamation of the great love of God for sinful and broken people which he showed us through the death and resurrection of Jesus. What this means is that anyone can come to Jesus to find grace and acceptance and that the love and favor of God don’t depend on our works, but on the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Our aim every Sunday and every day of our lives is to know Jesus and to lift Him up for the world around us to know Him.

Jesus is the whole redeemer for the whole of humanity.

The gospel of Jesus is not just a message of individual salvation from sin and judgment. It is a message of the goodness of God’s creation and of God’s plan to redeem that creation from the effects of sin. Every area of life is an opportunity to worship God and love our neighbor. Our jobs, our hobbies, culture and the arts, politics and civic engagement—all of these are outlets for our spirituality. Christ is big enough to bring together all of our human experience, and He is big enough to bring together all of us in our humanity. The grace of the gospel tears down national, tribal, and ethnic barriers and calls us to get up and cross those fallen barriers to love and serve all of humanity.
