In Mark 15 we see Jesus taken from the Sanhedrin to the praetorium of Pontius Pilate. Along the way we see the light of Jesus exposing the darkest depths of the human heart.

The message of Jesus is a historical message.
The message of Jesus is a brutally realistic message.
The message of Jesus is a triumphant message.
The light of revelation in Christ exposed the cowardice, hypocrisy, idolatry and violence in the human heart. And it revealed the kind of people that Jesus was willing to die for – cowards, hypocrites, idolaters and murderers.
Despite everything that came against him, the love of Christ would not stop.
